It all started with "Palco da Calcio" (Football Stage) in 2020, theatre festival created and directed by Costanza, counselor, evolutive theatre operator, poetress, footballer and drama teacher. She offered a theatrical platform to many Italian companies, during the pandemic.
The association developed in many different directions:
LO STRAPPO, a photographic project by Erika Rubino, toured Tuscany and its resonance was felt across several towns and neighbours.
"So... You Knew?" theatrical and multimedia show on the climate crisis, written and interpreted by Bartolomeo Bartolini, toured Tuscany and is going to premiere in London in July 2023;
APS Echoes also participated in the artistic direction of the Teatro dell'Affratellamento and yearly free theatre evening at the Anconella Garden.
Many other projects are in the making, thanks to the participation of a diverse and energetic board and close collaborators.
From September 2022, Echoes has been supporting the brand new school of theatre and counseling in Florence, created by Costanza Mascilli Migliorini thanks with APS Liminal ® .
Learn who we are and what we have done in the past.
Bartolomeo Bartolini has ran this solo performance about the fossil fuel industry's misinformation about climate change in London in July 2023. More dates announced soon.
A photographic exhibition with installations on the topic of abuse and violence.
Erika Rubino presented in collaboration with APS Echoes, Lo Strappo (The Strain).
"To get straight to the point, the project is violent, wonky, direct. To whoever doesn't want to wash their hands of it."
Villa Bandini, Florence- November 2021
Politeama, Poggibonsi - February 2022
Teatro Affratellamento, Florence - April 2022
Soon again in Tuscany and around Italy.
Donate today, to allow us to bring THE STRAIN in the whole of Italy.
The summer festival (Football Stage) was born in 2020 and relaunched in 2021 from an idea of Costanza Mascilli Migliorini (APS Echoes' president), in order to give light to 2 activities badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic: sport and theatre.
Footballer, actress and playwright, Costanza wanted to link her passions in a unique and original context, marrying physical activity such as sport to artistic endeavours.
The football pitch now becomes an unusual outdoor theatre stage, with the collaboration of Carolina Marconi (APS Echoes' vice-president) and the brilliant performances of, between many others, Introspective Theatre courses.

We admit that 2020 was a difficult year for the arts, we have made our effort to include our associates in online and outdoor workshops.
With Costanza Mascilli Migliorini's guide, headteacher at Introspective Theatre, two workshops were organized online with the collaboration of Bartolomeo Bartolini, graduated in Physical Theatre at East15:
Theatre & Communication and Theatre & Archetypes.
In 2021, with Carolina Marconi's assistance, Costanza coordinated a week in July of "Theatre in Nature", in the breath-taking lush countryside in Lucca's county.
The week long workshop happened again in 2022, thanks to the collaboration between Sergio Giannini and Costanza Mascilli Migliorini and the support of Bartolomeo Bartolini.
Costanza organized and led also the worskhop in 2023 with the support of APS Liminal.
Master Action and Immersion: this workshop, which took place in Florence, was created by Carolina Marconi and Costanza Mascilli Migliorini.
It is a practical workshop of immersive audio and video filming at 360 degrees, with counseling elements.
The idea was to teach to professionals in various social and humanitarian sectors how to use this new instrument (Virtual Reality) in order to create experiences in their own training journey.

The Walk is the long journey that Little Amal, which means HOPE in arabic, has embarked looking for her mother. During the 4 months of her long walk starting July 2021, Little Amal, a 3.5m tall puppet representing a 9 years old Syrian refugee girl and created by Handspring Theatre Company, has left from the Turkey-Syrian border to arrive in the UK in October.
After finishing The Walk, an epic 8000km journey, Little Amal has met many other young people, who, like her, had been forced away from their homes because of violences, persecution, wars or poverty.
Quite often these circumstances have been caused, or at least in part, by climate change.
The enforced journey of young refugees like Amal is one of many ways in which the planet is swivelling off its axis.
Ever more borders are drawn and walls are built but the climate crisis affects us all. It defies borders and leaps over all walls.
At COP26 Little Amal discovered new realities about the world by meeting changemakers from many of the countries she has visited: young people who embody and express the urgent need to take action to shape a better future.
